The children attended their second Fresh Air Camp to Khandala on 15th and 16th August, engaging in various fun and educational activities that encouraged teamwork and creativity. On 17th and 18th August, a red alert for heavy rains led to school closures in Navi Mumbai. However, the children enthusiastically attended online classes. supervised by Sr. Philomena and Sr. Priti, and adapted well to learning in a new environment.
SEPTEMBER Girl Child Day Celebration
On 7th September, the children were invited to the parish to celebrate Girl Child Day. The event featured two inspiring women speakers who shared their personal journeys and highlighted the strength, resilience, and influential role of women in society, leaving a lasting impression on the children.
OCTOBER
Inauguration & Generous Support
The grand opening of the Navi Mumbai International Airport took place on 8th October. Sr. Philo and Sr. Sheron were invited by CIDCO to attend the inauguration, a proud moment as the Religious of Jesus and Mary was the only congregation from Mumbai to be honored.
Additionally, on 29th October, Ms. Ritu and her team generously donated a new washing machine to Prem Dan, adding to their support from the previous year when they gifted a refrigerator. Their continued generosity is greatly appreciated and benefits the daily lives of the children and staff.
